5″ Custom Western Cathedral Curb Bit

This is one of those bits that makes us scratch our heads. We can’t see a mark on it, but this is clearly a custom/handmade/high end bit. This one has a great weight, is brilliantly balanced, and is just a nice piece of tack. 5″ mouth that has a nice contour, with a larger/wider cathedral port with spaded tip that measures 3 5/8″ as measured to the bottom of the mouth. Copper inlays on the mouth. Short, swept back shanks that measure 7 1/2″. All iron, has rusted with time and use, in excellent used condition. Darn nice bit here!
