Nice 5″ Argentine curb bit, often called an Argentine Snaffle. Argentine’s are our favorite step up bits/transition bits from a snaffle to a curb. This one has longer shanks than most, measuring 8.75″ that is quite swept back for plenty of pre-signal. Contour mouth, full sweet iron that has rusted with time and use. This one *almost* appears like a Dutton or similar quality, but doesn’t have copper inlays typical of older Dutton bits. Either way, its a nice quality bit and doesn’t have the feel of a production piece.
