17.5” Sommer Monoflap Dressage Saddle

Now, this is a cool older saddle. Sommer Saddles are the pinnacle of dressage saddles, common at the highest levels and its easy to see why. This one is perfectly broken in and so affordable, ready to get another rider started out right. This 17.5″ offers a deep, deep seat with narrow twist, supporting the rider’s seat well. Fitting true to 17.5″, 16″ flap that is slightly forward set on monoflaps. This one is so close contact, with internal long and moderate blocks, stabilizing the leg well. On a Medium/Medium Narrow tree that measures 4.5″, but measures wider than it fits. On an “A” framed tree, deep channel, and a bit of curviness to the tree. Perfect for an uphill, strong withered horse. Very short panel at just 19″, wool flocked and flocking in very good condition. Billets are in very good condition. You can tell this has been a favorite saddle of its past riders. This one shows fading to the black leather, some minor wear but has nice leather and is just so darn comfy. Overall, in good used condition. There has been some minor and good repairs to the lower flap above the billets, is missing its near side D ring. This high end saddle is so affordable, showing you just how supportive a good quality saddle can be to your riding.
