18″ Stubben Siegfried Close Contact Saddle

Stubben’s are one of our favorite saddles. In fact, we started off with this exact saddle and still ride in one today! This Stubben Siegfried, which is one of Stubben’s most recognizable models, is in good used condition.This saddle measures 18″, and fits true to that with a very narrow twist, while offering a semi-deep seat. Making this perfect for an all around saddle, working for flat classes but also jumping too. It has 14″ forward set flaps with a high set knee block, to help support the riders leg over fences. CS flaps are Stubben’s design to offer a Close Contact feel, without being too forward to still work for flat work. It has a 31.5cm gullet, which is Stubben’s X-Wide, however fits closer to a Wide tree, with a 5″ gullet with a wide channel.  Fairly standard, upswept panels that measure  a very short 19″. Is wool flocked, so can have some adjustments made to it. Very sharp in all black, pairing so well with the light tan welting and panels, making this one so darn pretty. While this is an older saddle, it’s in incredible condition. Showing no major use at all, frankly spending most of its life in storage. Billets are pristine. This is one to see!
