The only thing keeping us from calling this a new saddle is that it doesn’t have its tags anymore. This saddle is demo, perfect, pristine and waiting for its next rider! The Passier Compact model was designed for those short back mounts out there, without compromising on seat size. This is a #2, measuring 17.5″. The leather is lovely, very deep seat, and has a narrow twist for comfort. The stirrup bars are set into the tree, reducing bulk under the leg. This saddle also has moderate to bold knee blocks that are quite long, offering great support for a rider’s leg. 16.5″ forward set flap. The Compact is build with deeper gussets, upswept panels (only measure 18″!), and a high head pommel for wither clearance. The gullet measures 6″, fitting wide, and has a wide channel as well. Wool flocked so can be adjusted. The really cool thing about this saddle is the “W” billeting, which improves shoulder movement and stability of the saddle. New, this saddle retails for $3450.
