Handmade Horsehair Shoofly

Here is a cool piece of truly vintage tack. We don’t have a much history on this piece, but came from a lifelong collector who had made prison hitched horse hair pieces in his collection. In fact, this came with a piece we’ve added to our personal collection. Great color on this one in black, dark brown, and palomino. The top plaited button is in black and dark brown. Set on a double loop horsehair loop, designed to be a shoofly, but could be used as a tassel or accent piece too. Has a few stray hairs but is in excellent condition. Measures 8.5″ total in length, including loop.
