15.5″ Big Horn Flex Trail Saddle

This is such a nice quality saddle, and despite its age, has seen very little ride time. From Big Horn, on their light weight Flex tree offering a bit of flex in movement to accommodate the changes in your horse over the seasons. This flex tree flexes both side to side, but also front to back. Designed to move with your horse. This one is perfect for an athletic built horse, built on QH Bars that measures 6.5” with some flare, moderate wither clearance with wider tree channel, and moderate rock to the bars. This would be great for a gaited horse, Arab, or OTTB. 16” tree that fits just a bit more snug as it has a deeper seat that with nice padding. This one was a pecan oiled leather, but has darkened a bit to an almost chestnut color that is quite attractive. Has just a bit of tooling, with basketweave stamping and barbed wire tooled border. Fenders offer a ton of adjustment, going much longer than many saddles. We love the skirt shape on this one. Often called a butterfly skirt, designed like an equitation skirt to offer a closer contact feel. This saddle has seen very, very little ride time–spending most of its life in storage. Has a few minor spots of discoloration, but we are being far too picking at this point. Leather is just a bit dry in a few spots, but Big Horn uses great leather and it has already softened up like crazy with a bit of attention. This trail saddle is so nice and talk about a great price!
