15″ TexTan Tex-Flex Trail Saddle

This is such a nice quality saddle, and while an older one, is proof that quality tack lasts–especially when it’s well cared for. From Tex Tan/Hereford, on their famed Tex-Flex tree offering a bit of flex in movement to accommodate the changes in your horse over the seasons, while still being surprisingly lightweight on a ralide tree. This one is perfect for an athletic built horse, built on Semi Bars that measures 6.25” with moderate flare and wither clearance with a wider tree channel, and moderate rock to the bars. This would be great for a gaited horse, Arab, or OTTB. Offers a true 15” tree that is semi-deep and offers plenty of nice padding. In chestnut oiled leather that has nice, classic floral tooling. Has double rigging front rings to offer choices in rigging placement with in-skirt rear rigging ring. Fenders offer a ton of adjustment, going much shorter than many saddles. The stirrup leathers are nylon backed, which is a great, low maintenance material that help reduces stretching. We love this feature! We especially love the faux double skirt–its a great option to reduce weight while still looking like a traditional trail saddle. Lighter weight than you’d expect at just 29lbs. This saddle has been a favorite of its last rider, but has been very well cared for. Leather is very soft. Does show a few minor/typical signs of use and wear such as a few scuffs, marks, ect. Does have a few dark spots on the rear skirts from color transfer from saddle packs. Not terrible, nor does it impact the leather, but are a blemish to note. This comfy trail saddle is so nice and talk about a great price!
