Here is another one of those ‘trusty rusty’ saddles, made when saddles were made right and tight. This is an older 15″ Simco Equitation, but is ready to be your casual trail partner. Given the style this one is from the late 1970’s or 1980’s, with the deep hand tooling and silver lacing around the whole skirt. This one measures 15.5″ to stitching, but with the higher twist, fitting like at 15″. On semi bars with lots of wither clearance, a bit flatter, measuring 6″. Very adjustable stirrups, comfortable seat, 24.5″ skirt, and just has a nice look to it. The handmade detail on this saddle is just outstanding, with incredible tooling work all over the saddle. Could benefit from some conditioning, but in very good condition given its age. Ready to use, but would make an outstanding collection piece. This sharp saddle is priced to sell!
