We rarely take in saddles that have any sort of personalization on them, such as trophy fenders….but this saddle is the obvious exception! This Dakota A Fork/Ranch Roper is NICE. And frankly, the trophy writing on the fenders is very faint. Taking in a saddle like this means the price is way lower than it would be otherwise! This saddle is brand spankin’ new! Never been ridden in, only stored. Quality ropers can be an expensive investment. If you are wanting a quality roper, but aren’t quite ready to buy a custom…here is a heck of an option from one of our favorite saddlers. This nice, punchy looking A Fork Ranch Roper from Dakota Saddlery measures 16″ to stitching, but will fit just a hair smaller as it has a super deep seat. Has a slick, hard seat with a very deep seat/cantle. This one will keep you in your seat just fine! Built on QH bars, on a wood tree that is reinforced in all the right places, this one is built to work. Measures 6.75″, with a more upright tree angle that is perfect for a more athletic built horse, moderate flare, has some nice rock to the bars. This one will fit a horse well. This saddle keeps the old timer look going with the square double skirts, more exaggerated rounded fender, and the wide tooled boarder. Skirts measure 28″, comes fitted with matching rigging. 5″ cantle, 3.5″ leather wrapped post horn, A fork swells. Fenders on this one go REALLY long, perfect for a leggy rider. This is not a light saddle, weighing in at about 38lbs. While not a light saddle, this one is built to work and built to be comfortable for a long day of riding…and this one meets that mark. This is a new saddle, never ridden in, only stored. Has a few faint/minor/tiny scuffs from storage. This saddle is priced at a fraction of its new price. Grab it while you can!
