16″ Hill View Farms Liberty Western Trail Saddle

We just love having these saddles in! Flex Panel saddles have a near cult following, and seeing this saddle, it is no wonder why! Made by Hill View Farms, the is one of their most popular models, the Liberty Trail. Hill View Evolutionary Saddles took the design from Ortho Flex and improved it, offering active adjustment with each step your horse takes. Sadly, Hill View has since sold, so these incredibly popular saddles are getting hard to get ahold of! Flex panel saddles are designed with panels that are fixed to a solid tree (wood in this case) by a serious of flexing bearings that move with each step of your horse. They offer far more support than a treeless saddle while supporting saddle fit. This one is the ‘standard’ option, meaning it will work for a narrower horse up to a moderately wide horse. Would not consider this an option for a very hefty horse, think draft, but would be a great option for a draft cross! This awesome saddle offers a great padded seat, low profile swells, and butter soft leather. 16″ seat, however with the great padding, fits a bit closer to 15.5″. Has super adjustable fenders, going surprisingly short and are free swinging. 4″ cantle, wider and deeper seat. Shorter skirt length at just 25″. Panels and bearings are in pristine condition. We love the rigging on this one as its adjustable and self balancing, dropping to a center fire style. This one has fleece lined panels, so no need for booties/socks. Has always been used with a pad. This saddle has been incredibly well cared for and very lightly ridden in. Shows very minimal signs of use, has been babied and is butter soft. Only shows a couple small scuffs here and there. This awesome flex panel saddle is one of the best priced ones on the market right now. Grab it while you can!
