16″ Circle Y Drover Flex2 Trail Saddle

This punchy saddle from Circle Y has the ‘cowboy’ look, without the weight and bulk that goes along with a cowboy saddle. The Drover by Circle Y has key design features inspired by ranch saddles, but with the comfort of a trail saddle. Per serial number, this one is a 16″ seat, fitting true to that. It has all roughed out leather over the hard seat, jockeys, and fenders. That, paired with the deep seat, this saddle rides very securely. Per serial number, this one is built on Circle Y’s wide tree, measuring 7″, fitting like Full QH Bars. Offers nice shoulder flare and some rock to the bars. This will fit a wider horse with a bit of shape to their topline well. On Circle Y’s famed Flex2 tree, offering a bit of flexibility to saddle fit. Has slightly dropped double rigging, giving even more flexibility for cinch/saddle placement. Has a more substantial horn than most of CY’s trail saddles. Has a very short, round, faux double skirt that really helps cut down on weight. Has plenty of rings and strings for your packs, also has a crupper ring. This saddle is just so sharp! It has a subtle, two-toned look with the light oiled rough out leather paired with chestnut oiled tooled leather over the cantle binding, pommel and skirts. It’s just stunning! Comes fully fitted, including a nice set of wood stirrups. Is a 2019 model, purchased in 2021, and while it’s been used, it has been incredibly well cared for. Leather is butter soft, showing less signs of use than you’d expect. This limited edition model from Circle Y has been incredibly popular, and for good reason.
