17.5″ Kieffer Hintermayer Dressage Saddle w/ Tack

If you’ve never heard of Hintemayer Saddles, don’t worry–you’re not crazy. We hadn’t either, but have since learned a ton! Hintemayer was only around for a short time when a lead saddler from Kieffer went out on their own. After a few short years, the saddler went back to Kieffer and offered many Kieffer Hintemayer model saddles. This super nice saddle is all you’d expect fro a German saddler. It offers full grain leather that is both soft and grippy, with a seat that is scoopy/deep with a narrow twist. Per the flap, this one is a 17″, however fits and measures true to 17.5″ While the flaps themselves are straighter, has a forward set profile that supports its rider’s knee well. Flaps measure 15.5″, finished off with a bold, medium length knee block that offers plenty of support without being constricting. On a Medium Wide tree, measuring 5″, fitting wide with a “U” shaped tree that is a bit curvier with a wide channel. This is a great option for those foundation type QH horses or Warmbloods out there. Somehow, this one gets better! This one is wool flocked! Despite being a dressage saddle, has AP billets. Billets are sound. Shorter panel at just 19.5″.  While this is a bit of an older saddle, it has been well cared for. Leather is VERY soft and grippy, showing less use than you’d expect. Comes fitted with leathers and irons. This one is nice and is budget friendly!
