4 15/16″ Custom Made Colt Bit

Here is a nice quality, using bit. Looks to be either custom made or shop made, but isn’t marked. However, it has a great balance and feel. The mouth is thicker in diameter and slightly curved, very much like a John Israel bit, for ample tongue relief without correction that measures 4 15/16″. Straighter purchase that curves/sweeps back quite a bit towards the end of the shank. Shank measures 8.75″. Not terribly heavy, but has a nice weight to it with ample pick up. Nice balance to this bit, clearly quality made. Hardly used. Great bit to start young horses out in.
