4.75″ Ervin Quick Vintage Curb Bit

If this one wasn’t marked Quick, we’d never believe it was a Quick Bit. Regardless, this is a cool bit! This one is a bit older, likely made by Ervin Quick, who built bits for over 60 years, before transitioning the business to his son Mike Quick. This is a solid aluminum bit–solid mouth shanks, mouth, and bit stabilizer. Is solid aluminum, but isn’t as light or flimsy feeling as many aluminum bits, with far more weight. Thicker diameter mouth too. Despite this one being older, its in excellent condition. Shows just a bit of marking more from storage and time than actual use. Smaller 4.75″ mouth, 2″ port, 9.5″ shanks. Nice feel to this one. You don’t see many like this, that’s for sure! Marked Quick on the bit stabilizer.
