5 3/8″ Crockett Renalde Silver Mounted Curb Bit

This is a very attractive bit from Crockett. In what is often referred to as a ‘Grazing Curb’ style, with swept back shanks and low ported mullen mouth. Mouth is all copper, in a nice and unusual size at 5 3/8″. Mouth is slightly thicker in diameter. Swept back short shanks that measure 7 1/4″. Shanks have some nice silver detailing on the lower shanks and the very side of the mouth.  Marked ST, CR (Crockett Renalde). In very good used condition, showing a bit of oxidization on the copper and some natural patina to the silver. Offers a nice weight, really well balanced. Show legal bit.
