5″ Les Vogt PerforMax Silver Engraved Ported Curb

Lovely, lovely show bit from famed silversmith, Les Vogt. From his PerforMax line, with the whole shank covered in engraved german silver. This one may look a bit different than the modern ones, because it is! This one isn’t the type of production pieces you’ll see now. The mouth is really interesting on this one, with a sweet iron slopped low port as well as copper rollers over the bars. 5″ mouth. Longer shanks that are completely covered in silver, with a star concho just below the mouth. Lots of detailing on the shanks!. Shanks measures 9″. This bit is used but in very good used condition. Shows minor rust on the mouth from use and some natural patina on the silver, more so on the off side. Really pretty bit and one that was very limitedly made by LV. This one is an early PerforMax bit as it has the old logo without a model number.
