5″ Sweet Iron Gag Bit w/ Copper Roller

Nice, hardly lightly used 5″ gag bit. This is the perfect cross between a Jr Cowhorse bit and Charmayne James Gag. The mouth is all sweet iron, slightly thicker diameter and is hollow mouth to help cut down on weight. Offers a copper roller at the center, with a dogbone joint to help limit nut cracker effect of a traditional snaffle. Sweet iron rusts, offering a pleasant sweet taste for the horse. In hardly used condition, mouth isn’t starting to rust at all. Does have a makers mark but we do not recognize it–has two arrows pointing in opposite directions. Shorter shank at 6.5″. Nice, affordable bit.
