5″ Vintage Sterling Silver Mounted Curb Bit

Here is a stunning curb bit. While not branded/marked with a markers mark, this is a great example of a quality handmade bits that has a great feel and balance to it. 5″, all sweet iron, very much in a Jr Cutter style with a lower port. Port measures 1 5/8″. Mullen mouth, fixed cheek. Very short, swept shank that measures 7″. Has three square set conchos on the side of each shank. Tests sterling, has some natural patina. Brilliant balance and feel, well cared for, no condition issues to note, some rust on the bit as typical of sweet iron. Show legal bit, one that is showy and quality!
