New in box Breyer Model Horse Nevada Joe Sterling (model #300102), which is a stunning dark bay with BLM (mustang) freeze brand on his neck. Nevada Joe Sterling was a real horse, purchased by one of the owners of the Wahl Clipper Company, who traveled the country with trainer Pat Parelli. Horse Illustrated followed the horse’s training progress throughly their monthly publications, igniting interest in mustangs across the country. This amazing horse served as an ambassador of mustangs, BLM adoption, and the versatility of these formally wild horses. This model was a very limited edition run only available in 2002, only sold at Tractor Supply. Built on the classic Smoky mold (#69), sculpted by artist Chris Hess in 1981. New in box, never opened and still sealed. There is separation at the very top of the box, which has been taped closed again. Great Breyer to add to your collection!
