13″ Langerud Custom Ultra-Light Endurance Saddle

Cliff is pretty proud of this endurance saddle! He didn’t make many in his long career, which is as shame given how nice this one is! Has plenty of ‘western flare’ but is incredibly well built, without unnecessary weight. This one is a 13″ seat, fitting very securely with a slick seat that is quite scoopy, with a slightly raised twist and deep seat bed. This one is sure to keep you secure. On Arab Bars that measure 6″. Don’t let “Arab” scare you away. Arab bars means shorter bars in the front, a shorter tree in general, and with rock to the bars. This one has decent shoulder flare, good wither clearance, and plenty of rock to the bars. Made from dark oiled Wickett and Craig leather that has aged like fine wine, is incredibly soft and very sticky. Has English style leathers–what we mean by that is it has strap leathers that are wider than a traditional English leather that are adjustable with a wider buckle. With leather fender/buckle covers. Leathers offer a ton of adjustability with room for more holes if needed. Have a lightweight composite stirrup on it now. Slightly set back, in skirt rigging. This one has a wood tree, so is one you can be sure will last. Endurance/narrow swells and rawhide pencil roll finish this one off. We’ve gone over this one and replaced strings, leather rosettes, and screws. While older, and one that has seen plenty of riding, it has been incredibly well cared for! Very soft leather, well maintained, and shows normal/minor signs of use. What really blows us away is how light this one is! It weighs, just 20lbs. Yes, seriously! This is one to see and ride in!
