15.5″ Crest Ridge X-Wide Ovation Endurance Saddle

If you’ve been eyeing a Crest Ridge Saddle but the cost was keeping you from snagging one…here is the opportunity for you! This Crest Ridge Saddles Ovation Endurance saddle offers all the craftsmanship, quality, and comfort you’d expect from CR but is just old enough to be budget friendly. Built on a X-Wide tree that measures 7.75″ with a ton of flare, fitting low and wide without compromising wither clearance and still offering good rock to the bars. This will fit a horse well! Stamped as having a 16″ seat, however fits like 15.5″ with ample seat padding and a higher cantle at 4″, giving the rider a very secure ride. Western rigged with all stainless hardware, designed to be center fire or Y rigged. Everything about this saddle is designed with reducing weight in mind. Very short skirt at just 23.5″, thinner stirrup leathers, and lightweight trail stirrups. Fenders offer a ton of adjustment, going short enough for a youth rider. There’s room for more holes as well. Comes with plenty of rings and strings for all your packs, too! This saddle weighs in at just 25lbs. This one is older, made before CR’s current serial number pattern, so we are not sure just how old, but is likely from the mid 2000s. While a bit older, has been well cared for. It has been in storage for the last few years. While it has been stored well, the leather has dried just a bit. However, the Wickett & Craig bridle leather is outstanding leather quality and already softened with just a bit of attention. Shows normal signs of use and wear in the form of minor cosmetic scuffs and scrapes. While in storage, something had been set on the seat and there are two indents on the seat bed. While they do kind of look like butt imprints, they aren’t, we promise! The memory foam seat may ‘forget’ the indents at some point, but so far they seem like they are here to stay. Thankfully, they are in a spot that your bum cannot feel, but still worth noting. This really nice saddle is an outstanding one, and truly budget friendly!
