15″ Syd Hill Australian Stock Saddle

Now, this is a cool saddle! Too often, the Australian saddle market is full of economy, low end saddles. This one is darn nice, from a historical company that is synonymous with quality. This Syd Hill saddle is outstanding. Per serial number, this one is a 15″ but we feel it fits just a hair smaller. In a hornless Aussie style with wider swells/thigh blocks that ad great security to this saddle. For riders who want a more secure saddle but rides like a Dressage saddle, this is the perfect saddle for you. The seat is balance like a dressage saddle and has a surprisingly narrow wist. Per serial number, this one is on a Medium Tree, measuring 5″, fitting like Semi bars in a western saddle. Open channel, ample wither clearance, and wool lining that helps reduce saddle slippage. Most Aussies have over girths, however, this one was ordered to be Dressage Billeted, working with a dressage/English girth without issue. All brass hardware, lots of rings for packs, and has a rear rigging ring to allow for a Y-girth or rear cinch to be added. While this is an older saddle, its been very well cared for with very soft leather and only minor signs of use. Has a few scuffs and scrapes, but very minor. We love this saddle and know you will too. This one is darn nice, one that won’t last long with this quality or at this price!
