5.25″ Herm Sprenger Thicker Loose Ring Snaffle

Here is a nice, slightly larger Herm Sprenger snaffle in 5.25″. In very good used condition. Herm Sprenger’s are known for being very well balanced and this bit is no exception. Traditional snaffle joint, that is slightly thicker diameter (likely 16mm) and tapers thinner towards the joint, which is a bit unusual for a HS. Made from Aurigan, which is a copper alloy metal, that promotes softness and acceptance of the bit. In good used condition, showing a few shallow/minor teeth marks. Nice, snaffle bit. **please note, these bits are measured hole to hole, not ring to ring**
