5.25″ Trust 2.5 Ring Leather Straight Bar Bit

Talk about a great, new bit that is way less than retail! New with tags from Trust Bits, this leather snaffle is a great version of a mullen mouth, made softer/kinder with leather. This is a great option for a horse who is adverse to metal and desires a more stable bit. Nice, slightly larger size at 5.25″. New without tags, never used only stored. The mouthpiece is a straight bar of leather with a nylon core. The saliva makes the leather soft and supple, so that it is very well accepted, as it adapts perfectly to the anatomy of the horse’s mouth. Even sensitive and mouth-sensitive horses usually get along very well with this mouthpiece. The leather is tanned without chemicals, so it poses no danger to humans or animals. To keep it soft and supple, it should be greased regularly with olive oil.The shorter cheek pieces (measures 5″) reduces bulk but still giving the support of a larger ring.
