5.5″ Custom Loose Ring Snaffle w/ Open Link Center

This is a really interesting bit! We often acquire bits we haven’t seen before to get an idea of function, action, and softness. This one has an open link center–rather than a link/lozenge or Bristol tab. The link is in line with the mouthpiece, which will rotate less on the tongue as compared to a Bristol tab, but still offering a teeny bit more correction or bite than a link/lozenge. Still offers the benefits of a three piece snaffle, reducing the nutcracker effect. Slightly thinner diameter, mouth is a 5.5″, with standard loose rings. All stainless, offers a nice weight. This one is marked with a brand, but it’s very faint. We are next to positive this bit is from Stubben, but we cannot make out the brand to be sure. Either way, this is a nice bit in very good used condition.
