5.5″ Custom Made Hunter D Ring Snaffle

This bit is really nice! But, it has us a bit confused. Clearly a handmade, high end, and exceptional quality bit but we are unsure of who the maker is. Has a couple numbers on the bit, in a couple places (78) and has what appears to be a faint makers mark, but we can’t quite make it out. Either way, this is a great quality bit that has a great weight to it. Larger mouth at 5.5″, thinner diameter that things towards the snaffle joint, and larger Hunter style D cheeks that measures 3 7/8″. In excellent, hardly used condition. This bit has more weight to it than most. Awesome bit and is show legal in most associations.
