The Madeleine Snaffle is designed to be a mutli-function bit, perfect for use as a snaffle but also low profile enough to be used as a bradoon in a double bridle. Often called a locking snaffle depending on which direction it lays in the mouth. One way, it will have the similar flexibility and bend as a single joint snaffle, and the other ‘locks’ against itself to prevent collapse on the tongue and offers way more stability. 5.5” smooth titanium mouth, pinchless cheeks, and slightly smaller loose ring cheeks that measure 2.5” in diameter.
