5.5″ New with tags Herm Sprenger KK Conrad Sensogan Weymouth English Curb. 18mm mouth, 4.5″ shank (5.5″ to bottom of rein ring). This one is new with tags, but does show just a couple marks from storage. However, at this point, we are just being picky. Per the maker:

The Herm Sprenger KK Conrad Sensogan® Weymouth Bit features a port that’s angled forward 45° to allow for palate clearance. The 18mm mouthpiece is made of innovative Sensogan metal. As a result of ongoing research and development, experts at Herm Sprenger created Sensogan to offer all the benefits of Aurigan®, yet retain its discreet and elegant silver color much longer.

Like Aurigan, Sensogan promotes a delicate and sensitive connection to the horse. It instills a pleasant taste, encourages salivation and promotes bit acceptance. It also significantly regulates the oxidation process to allow the bit to maintain its beautiful color. Distinctively unique, this metal is a propriety blend of copper, zinc and manganese. A reduced copper content allows some oxidation to occur, but the addition of manganese regulates and slows oxidation which in turn slows discoloration. Manganese is also an important micronutrient for horses, as a crucial component and activator of enzymes.
