5.75″ Herm Sprenger KK Ultra Loose Ring Snaffle

Here is one of our favorite bits, on our favorite color! This ‘brassy’ bit is from Herm Sprenger and is a KK Ultra in a 5.75″, in a thinner diameter, likely a 12 mm, designed for horses who desire a more substantial. The link in the middle is shortened and rotated by 45°. This bit is specially designed to improve your horse’s comfort and performance. This bit is in excellent used condition. Per Herm Sprenger:

Made from Herm Sprenger’s Aurigan material, which promotes a delicate and sensitive connection to the horse. It instills a pleasant taste, encourages salivation and promotes bit acceptance. Distinctively unique, this metal is a propriety blend of copper, zinc and manganese. A reduced copper content allows some oxidation to occur, but the addition of manganese regulates and slows oxidation which in turn slows discoloration. Manganese is also an important micronutrient for horses, as a crucial component and activator of enzymes.
