5″ Speciality English Loose Ring Snaffle Bit

This is a really interesting bit. We really don’t know what to call it, but have seen similar bits called “half and half” snaffles. Its almost like a horse racing lag bit, or a half crescendo. Is fully reversible, with a smooth side and a two bars on the other that has some rotation with how the they fix to the cheek. Not marked, but is clearly a speciality bit. If we were to guess, its to add more correction to one side where a horse may lean or is not responsive to the bit. 5″ mouth, appears to be all stainless. Would be a cool bit to add to an educational collection. In excellent used condition.
