5″ Winning Tongue Plate WTP Ring Bit w/ Brakes

This ring bit from Winning Tongue Plate (WTP) is a great, all purpose bit with action similar to a 2-ring gag. 5” mouth. Offers gag rotation on a larger ring, with reins slot, and smaller rein to hang/attach to the bridle. The rein can be fixed in the rein ring or larger ring to change the amount of gag action. Offers WTP’s NP mouth piece, which is a smaller center plate that prevents collapsing, grabbing the tongue, or hitting the roof of the mouth, and reducing pressure on the tongue and the bars. The shape of the bit reduces the ability to get the tongue over the bit while also improving bit acceptance. The “with brakes” name of the bit comes from the gag action, designed for a horse how gets heavy on the bit or isn’t as responsive to the bit when in work, without adding a ton of correction. This bit is in pristine condition, only used once!
