15″ Wintec Pony Close Contact English Saddle

Oo goodness, how cute is this teeny saddle! This 15″ Wintec Pro Pony Close Contact saddle is the perfect saddle for your kiddo who is wanting to dip their toes in the English world. This one can jump and do dressage/flat work!  A true 15″, making this truly youth friendly, with a very short flap at just 11.5″. Has velcro patches to add blocks to help secure your little rider’s leg. It does not come with blocks. This saddle is truly a ‘wash and wear’ saddle, fully synthetic that makes maintenance near zero. Even the billets are synthetic (biothene), which means it will survive neglect, rough and tumble kiddos, or whatever sticky things kids somehow get everywhere. This is an older Wintec and does NOT offer an adjustable gullet, rather is on a fixed tree. Gullet measures a generous 5.5″, fitting like Wide/X-Wide. This is a true pony tree, meaning it has a more ‘hoop’ shaped tree, wide channel, and lower gussets to actually fit a chunky monkey of a pony. This one offers Wintec’s Equi-suede over the knee rolls, jockeys, and seat making it very grippy and secure. While being older, its been very well cared for. Has a bit of barn dust, a teeny bit of minor/faint staining from product spilling on it (a quick wash has already lessened the staining) and a bit of minor pilling along the edge of the jockeys, mainly on the near side. This is such a nice, affordable English saddle. One that won’t break the bank for a saddle your kiddo will grow out of.
