16.5” Black Country Wexford Jump Saddle

We are so thrilled to have this saddle! There is a reason this saddle is often called the ‘armchair’ of jump saddles! The Wexford’s wide, deep seat makes it great for flat work, and the knee and calf blocks offer security and correct position over fences. It offers the balance, confidence and comfort you’ll need, whether you’re eventing, following the hunt field, or just enjoying the trails. This saddle comes with large velcro patches that allows for knee and thigh blocks to increased rider security. Comes with bold front blocks. Has textured bullhide leather that is both very soft and durable, but also very grippy. On a Wide tree, fitting a bit closer to Medium Wide as it has front gussets, measuring 5.5″. Stamped 16.5″, however fits like a true 17″ as it has slightly longer flaps, and has the slightly shallower seat. Flaps are moderate forward, measuring 14.5″ (14″ wide). Very short panel at just 19″, standard 2″ rear gussets, and is wool flocked which has been meticulously cared for. The photos do make the saddle look black, this one is very dark chocolate brown. Serial Number: 31274. This saddle is in incredible condition, showing little to no ride time, hardly showing a mark from leathers.  Black Country is one of our favorite saddle makers, and when you put your bum on this one, you’ll know why. They are brilliantly balanced, are built to last, and are so secure. You don’t see many Wexford’s on the used market in this condition, especially at this price. This saddle is incredible and ready to ride!
