16.5″ Prestige Appaloosa Elastic Professional Close Contact English Saddle

This saddle is just darling. We have gotten fond of Prestige saddles over the years, and this saddle is just proof again why they are so popular. This model, the Elastic Professional, was only available in the Europe. With it’s popularity, its not surprising that a few made it to the US! This lovely jumping/eventing saddle has seen very, very little use. Honestly, it looks like its fresh out of the saddle factory! Per it’s serial number, it’s a 17″, however with the scoopy seat and very short flap, fits like a 16.5″. Per serial number, this one is on a 31cm tree, which is Prestige’s Narrow tree, however, it has been widened by a saddler to what is equivalent to a 34cm tree. It fits on the wide side of Medium, measuring 4.75″. Has a higher head, curvier tree, and wider channel making this a great option for a strong withered, wider backed horse or pony. This saddle has a great, modern look with a high forward flap with very bold knee blocks that do a brilliant job of locking your legs in. Also has a rear thigh block. Blocks are fixed, not movable. With the shorter flap it is a great option for a youth or petite/shorter leg rider! Is also a very short panel saddle, making it pony friendly. If we are reading the serial number correctly, this saddle was made 2005, which is absolutely shocking given the outstanding condition of this saddle. Seriously, it shows hardly any use and impeccable care. It has just a bit of faint rubbing on the flap from the leathers. Billets have been replaced at some point and are in excellent condition as well. This saddle is pretty, too! It’s all black with a cream leather cantle cap. This saddle is absolutely one to see!
