17.5” Courbette Husar All Purpose English Saddle

If you’ve been interested in trying out English or need to outfit a 4H’er on a budget—here is your saddle! From Courbette, the Husar is an actual purposeful All Purpose saddle (insert no purpose jokes here). Ok, jokes aside, this saddle was designed to have a more forward flap to pop over jumps while still being appropriate for flat work. This one is a true 17.5” seat with a semi-deep seat and very narrow twist. The forward flap has a wider knee roll that is suede, helping with security. 14” flap, AP billets. On what appears to be a Medium Narrow tree, measuring 4” with an “A” framed tree shape and ample clearance, perfect for a higher withered horse. Narrower channel and lower profile rear gussets. Is foam flocked. This is an older saddle, made before Courbette was purchased by Stubben and is a nice quality saddle. This one was left behind when a lesson program/barn closed, spending years in storage. Not stored the best and the leather has dried out significantly.
