17.5″ Lovatt & Ricketts Berkeley X-Wide Dressage w/ Tack

We love, love LNR saddles. We have two that already call our tack room home. We were awfully tempted to keep this for our Fjord, however, we really don’t need another saddle. For those of you who rider heftier mounts, this saddle is wide…wide…WIDE! The best thing about this saddle is the tree! This one is XW per serial number, however fits wider than a traditional XW. The gullet measures 7″, yes, 7″! It is on a hoop tree, with a very wide channel, and short panels that measure just 20″! This one would be a great option for Haflinger or pony riders! It is wool flocked, so can be further adjusted by a saddler for your wider mount. This LNR Berkely has all the right things. 17.5″ seat, narrow twist, SUPER deep seat, slightly forward flaps that measure 16″, adjustable “Y” billeting for secure fit, adjustable stirrup bars, and lovely leather. The adjustable stirrup bar is one of the most popular features of LNR saddles as it allows the rider to ensure their leg is under them for optimal seat. This one also has a velcro panel under the knee roll to allow for varying sizes of blocks and placement. Currently comes with a long moderate block. Comes fully fitted with black calf leathers and and safety irons. This saddle has been incredibly well cared for, showing nothing more than normal signs of use. It has patent leather welting and there are some blemishes on the welting, but overall this one has been babied. The front billet is showing som use on each side.  Don’t pass up this #landhippo friendly saddle!
