17.5″ Otto Schumacher Profi Dynamic Dressage

$1,499.00

This lovely older Otto Schumacher Dynamic Dressage is just snazzy, designed by top riders to help even the casual rider feel supported in their dressage journey. Stamped 30cm, which is a Medium, however fits like a Medium Wide with a high head tree, meaning the pommel is cut back a bit to easily accommodate a taller wither. This saddle can be adjusted by a saddler. Shape/curvy tree that is a great option for a horse that is more uphill or having some angle to their top line. Bold blocks that run the whole panel, supporting its rider’s leg without being confining. Straighter and wider flap that measures 17″. Adjustable point billet and self balancing rear billet, giving you many options to support varying horses. Wool flocked, surprisingly short panel at just 19.5″. The panel design on this saddle is so darn cool. Panels are extra wide, but not thick (standard gusset) that is set on the tree that allows for ample support for your horse without giving up a close contact feel. The high head tree is paired with set back tree points and shorter front panel to open up the shoulder. This model is very popular among Iberian/Arab/Pony people who don’t have a ton of back real estate for a saddle. This saddle has been a favorite of its last rider, but incredibly well cared for. Flocking has been well maintained, billets were replaced not too long ago, and clearly oiled often. The leather on this saddle is butter soft. Heck, even the flaps hardly show leather marks. There is a teeny bit of surface cracking along the seams of the seat, but very very minor. This awesome saddle is proof that quality tack lasts…and this one will last for decades to come!
