17.5″ Stubben Roxane Close Contact Saddle

This Stubben Roxane is just lovely! Stubben is one of our favorite brands, in fact, we have a couple ourselves! This Roxane is a great example of the quality you’d expect from Stubben. And its black! Black is back, even in the jumper/hunter ring. This model is incredibly popular and its clear its last rider loved this saddle. It has seen plenty of ride time, but has clearly been very well cared for. This saddle measures 17.5″, and fits true to that with a very narrow twist, while offering a moderate-deep seat. While this is a jump/CC saddle, the look and flap makes this appropriate for breed shows and flat work. Forward, but not a high forward flap, that measure 14″, with both thigh and knee blocks to help stabilize the rider’s leg over jumps. Per serial number it is a 30cm tree, fitting between Medium and Medium wide with a with a more “U” shaped tree, measuring 5″, with ample wither clearance and wider channel. Wool flocked which has been well maintained, low/standard gussets, and very short panel at just 19.5″. Billets have been replaced at some point and are in very good used condition. This one has had a preemptive repair on the seat, with patches added on each side of the twist to prevent any separation at the seam. The repair was clearly done by an experienced saddler. Had also had a few spots of loose stitching replaced. Again, this saddle was clearly loved and well maintained. The leather on this saddle is so darn soft, clearly being oiled often throughout its life. This classy black Roxane is priced incredible well–you’ll be hard pressed to find another one priced like this. Grab it while you can!
