17” Bates Isabell Buffalo Adjustable Dressage Saddle

$999.00

If you’ve been eyeing an adjustable dressage saddle for a while, but just can’t justify the expense, we have the perfect saddle for you! This saddle has all the appeal of an adjustable gullet saddle, with some great modifications. This Bates Isabell dressage saddle is a great, hard to find smaller size. Offering a true 17″ seat AND has a short flap that measures 15.5″. This is a great option for a shorter legged rider, including a youth rider! Offers a really scoopy seat, narrow twist, and adjustable blocks (comes with bold blocks). This saddle rides very securely! To somehow make this saddle even better, if is in fully buffalo leather! Buffalo is a highly textured and very grippy leather that is incredibly durable while offering great security. These saddles are hard to find in full buffalo, no one wants to part with them! Offers Bates’ adjustable gullet system, offering the ability to adjust the saddle from Narrow-X-Wide with simply change of the gullet plate (Medium/black gullet currently installed). Also has Bates’ CAIR panels, which are air filled bladders that offers dynamic fit with each movement of your horse. Has a forward set quasi point billet, self-balancing rear Y billet stabilizes the saddle in 3 different spots. This is an older Bates dressage saddle, but we far prefer the older ones as they have far better leather quality. This one has been well maintained, as it was a favorite of its last rider. The leather on this saddle is incredibly soft, showing normal signs of wear/use. The sweat flaps are a bit dry, but have already softened up with just a bit of attention. We love this saddle and we know you will too. You can’t go wrong at this price, either!
