18.5″ Stubben Siegfried CS Extra English Saddle

Stubben’s are one of our favorite saddles. In fact, we started off with this exact saddle and still ride in one today! This Stubben Siegfried offers a seat that measures and fits true to 18.5″, making this a great option for many riders while still offering a deep seat and narrow twist. It has 15″ forward set flaps with a low profile knee block, not getting in the way of the rider’s leg. CS flaps are Stubben’s design to offer an All Purpose saddle, with the Extra flaps, which are forward flaps that are a bit longer for dressage riding and schooling. This one puts the “purpose” back in All Purpose! This saddle is sharp with the two toned, in black with tan welting and panels.  It has a 31cm gullet, which is Stubben’s Medium Wide, and measures 5″, fitting a true MW . This saddle has a more upright gullet angle with a moderate channel. 29″ upswept panel and is wool flocked. In good used condition, showing a bit of surface cracking to the knee roll, but minor. The under flaps/sweat flaps are a bit dry, and have rolled under themselves from being on a saddle rack. However, Stubben leather quality is great and these have already softened a bit with just a bit of conditioning. Has other signs of normal wear and age such as a few scuffs here and there, but is ready for decades more riding! Wool flocked and flocking is in good condition. Lovely, quality saddle!
