18″ Thorowgood T4 Compact Close Contact Saddle

This is such a nice saddle! This one is 18″ and is in brilliant, pristine condition. The only reason we aren’t calling this one “Demo Condition”, is that the saddle cover creased the underlap just a bit on this one. No signs of use at all! Thorowgood saddles have become barn favorites and it is easy to see why! This one is fully synthetic, so no maintenance for care at all! Plus, they offer an adjustable gullet system, with gullets from X-Narrow to XX-Wide. This one comes ready to go with 4 gullets total-one currently installed as well as Blue (Medium Wide), Silver (XX Wide), and Black (Medium). They are also wool flocked, offering even more adjustability for your horses fit, easily supporting rider and horse through plenty of adventures. This one is a true Close Contact saddle, but offers a straight enough flap for flat work. Has a free swinging rear billet, and front billet that is forward set almost like a point billet. Has velcro patches under the knee roll to add blocks-currently has a short bold on installed. Has rear thigh block as well. Is a true 18″ saddle with a more open, hunter style seat. Semi-forward flap that measures 14″. The panel is slightly upswept and is shorter at 20.5″. The Compact was designed with short back horses and ponies in mind, sliming down all measurements to ensure saddle fit and horse comfort. This saddle is in excellent condition and offered less than retail!
