18″ Wintec Pro Feldmann Adjustable Icelandic Saddle

Here is a nice, affordable, adjustable…and really cool saddle! The Wintec Pro Feldmann Icelandic saddle is not one you see in the US very often, but is incredibly popular in Australia and the UK, and for good reason. It offers all the attributes that makes Wintec saddles so popular, but with some unique and really cool features. Offers a true 18″ seat that is flatter, while still having a narrow twist, that is very secure as its full Equi-suede, which is an extra grippy synthetic material, which is also on the knee rolls. There rest of the saddle is also synthetic, making this saddle a true ‘wash and wear’ saddle that requires less maintenance than a leather saddles. Offers Wintec’s popular adjustable gullet system, adjusting from X-Narrow to X-Wide. Sells with a Medium Narrow Gullet (Green). This one originally had CAIR panels, but we have upgraded this one to wool flocking, and has all brand new wool it in! This saddle has the improved adjustable “Y” billeting system along with a point billeting on the front, giving great security to the front of the saddle. Semi forward set flaps that measure 15.5″, with Velcro to add blocks to support your lower leg. It does not come with blocks. Billets have been replaced with leather at some point, we have replaced two billets that needed some attention. If you don’t have an Icelandic saddle, don’t stress! This model is the perfect combo of a dressage saddle and an endurance saddle, as it is very lightweight, offers more security than a traditional dressage saddle, and has extra rings for your packs and tack. This one is in very good used condition, showing minor pilling to the Equisuede, but the grippiness is not impacted at all. This is such a cool saddle and one that is priced so well, too!
