County Icelandic Dressage Saddle

If you’ve been with us for a while, you know how much we love LOVE County Saddles. Despite having literal dozens in stock over the last few years, this is a first and we sure hope its not the last time we see a County Icelandic Saddle. This cool saddle is the perfect marriage of a dressage saddle, saddle seat saddle, with a bit of Icelandic flare. Per the flap, this one is stamped 17.5″….its is NOT. It measures and fits true to 18.5″. The seat stye is fits very much like a saddle seat saddle, with a more ‘open’ seat, while still being secure. Square cantle. Per flap, built on a Medium tree, measuring 4″, fitting true to that with an almost high head stall tree plate, while still offering a bit of curve to the tree. Wool flocked as you’d expect from a County, low rear gussets, and slightly wider channel. This one will ride with a close contact feel. Surprisingly short panel at just 19″. 17.5″ semi forward, wide flaps with a moderately bold and longer block under the flap. AP billets that are pristine. Frankly, this whole darn saddle is pristine. Clearly loved dearly and well cared for, with all leather absolutely butter soft. Hardly as scuff on this really cool saddle. This saddle is an absolute steal and is ready to ride in many different arenas.
