Large Yearling Vintage Silver Show Halter

Here is a nice, affordable, quality show halter. We are surprised this one isn’t marked, as it has all the feel of an older Billy or Silvery Royal. In darker oil leather, in a more traditional style, but with leather over the side rings to be similar in look to a Congress style halter. This one does have a mix of silver on it, as it originally had all Sterling Silver, but all the conchos were taken off. The side plates are internal rivet set and are sterling. The other conchos are all from Montana Silver. While the engraving pattern matches really well, the newer conchos are shinier than the cheek/nose plates. The side buckles are all vintage, and heavy duty North & Judd. While an older halter, is still in very good used condition. The rolled leather has dried a bit and does show a teeny bit of surface cracking, but a bit of conditioning has already done it wonders. Stamped Y for yearling, fits large. Nice halter at a great price.
