Hand Crafted Horse Hair Cowboy Hat Band

Here is a cool piece of truly vintage tack. We don’t have a much history on this piece, but came off a vintage Stetson and from a lifelong collector. We don’t think this one is prison hitched, but have no doubt this one is hand made. Clearly made by a talented braider. Black and palomino horse hair that is finally plaited. Loop through adjustment, with ample adjustment for even the largest of cowboy hats. Has tassels on each end. In very good condition, with very few loose horse hairs. Bit of frizz on the tassels, but we are being picking at this point. 3/4″ diameter. Stunning piece of vintage apparel!
