Hap Hansen Bareback Bronc Rigging

$420.00

Chalk this up to the random things we acquire. We will be completely frank, we don’t know a darn thing about bareback bronc riding, rigging, or tack. What we do know is that the maker of this bareback rigging is a heck of a maker, Hap Hansen. Hap was a household name on the Southwestern and Western rodeo circuits, still holding multiple arena records in Prescott, AZ, Las Vegas, Reno, among others. While he’s been gone for some time, his work has been well recognized and in fact, a bareback rig very similar to this one is showcased in the Museum of the West. This is an older piece, but is tight and in good used condition. Heavy stitching, large side rigging rings that are tight, with angled wood handle with leather on one side. No major wear, has some writing/carving on it, a few scuffs, but in good condition. Post has been professionally moved at some point. If this rigging could talk, we bet it would have some insane stories to tell! We’ve seen some old stock ones available like this going for $900, so this one is a steal. Take a look at the pictures for more info and detail. If you have more specific questions, we will do out best to answer.
