5.25″ Myler Ported Eggbutt Snaffle w/ Hooks

5″ Myler ported Eggbutt with hooks. Level 3 with a rounded correction port that offers optimal tongue relief. Has inlayed copper to promote salivation. This mouth is incredibly popular in western bits but has unfortunately been discontinued in English check pieces. Great way to duplicate your western bit for your english bit! MB27 mouth. The MB 27LP is a Myler correctional mouthpiece, which is a ported mouthpiece that collapses on to the outer lip and bars, and rotates onto the tongue. The port, although narrow, offers room for the horse’s tongue to pass under the bit. When the reins are engaged, and the mouthpiece rotates onto the tongue, it applies two concentrated points of pressure on the tongue for quick control. Because this port is only 1 ¼” high, it will apply little to no palate pressure.
