5.25″ Myler Western D Low Port Comfort Snaffle

This bit is a very popular mouth from Myler. 5.25″ Western D ring Comfort Snaffle (MB04), with just a bit of a raised mouth to offer tongue relief. This is a very popular option for horses who need the stability of a mullen mouth, with a bit of tongue relief, and who don’t care for the nutcracker effect of traditional snaffles. With hooks that give the rider mild leverage options. The mouth is made from sweet iron, which rusts with use to offer a pleasant taste for your horse. This one is in hardly used condition, with next to no rust as its only been used a couple times. New model, with external small ring for curb strap/chain. Per Myler:

The MB 04 is similar to the MB 02 in that it will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure, however, it has a small (¼”) port that introduces some tongue relief to the horse. The port allows the horse to swallow and move his tongue when he is moving forward and relaxed, which acts as a release or reward. The mouthpiece is curved, and it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching.
