5″ Myler Dotted 7 Shank Forward Tilt Ported Curb

Nice, lightly used 5″ Myler MB-36 Forward Tilt fancy dotted 7 shank that has such a nice look. This is one of our favorite bits! In fact, this is one of our client’s favorite bits too, selling out every time we get one in! The mouth is sweet iron, so does rust to offer a pleasant sweet taste for the horse. This bit has seen very little use, but the shanks have taken on a bit of an odd color. This bit model comes in a blackened shank but this one is more of a matted pewter color. It’s possible this one was sand blasted or was stored near something that wore off the black color. Overall, it’s seen very little use and the mouth has barely started to rust. This bit by Myler has a 5 inch low port mouthpiece with a forward tilt. Perfect for a horse with basic training with a good disposition and self control. The slight 1/4″ port offers tongue relief; forward tilt applies some tongue pressure. Made of sweet iron with a copper inlay. This mouthpiece will naturally oxidize, or rust. Harmless to horses, it has a sweet taste and promotes salivation.
